  • School Caretaker & Lettings Officer - Queen Emma

    Location: Queens’ Federation which includes Queen Emma Primary School, Gunhild Way, Cambridge, CB1 8QY and Queen Edith Primary School Godwin Way CB1 8QP.

    Working Hours: 6:15pm to 9:15pm, Monday to Friday* (15 hours per week) with a requirement to work one weekend in every four. Weekend hours are approximately 3 hours per day on Saturday and Sunday, between 8:00am and 3:00pm.

    *While these are the Monday to Friday contracted hours, there may be opportunities for some flexibility, which can be discussed with the successful candidate.

    Salary: Salary: NJC Grade 2, £25,185 - £25,583 FTE (pending April 2026 pay award).    

    Actual salary: £10,210 - £10,371 per annum.  PLUS pay for hours worked at weekends.

    Weekends and out-of-hours are paid at enhanced rates for non-standard working hours (according to Cambridgeshire County Council Non-Standard Working Rates and Overtime Policy). There may also be opportunities for overtime from time to time, depending on the needs of the school, planned events, and the time of year.

    Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks a year with paid annual leave plus bank holidays.

    Responsible to: Federation Business Manager.

    Required to start in September 2026

There may also be opportunities for overtime from time to time, depending on the needs of the school, planned events, and the time of year.
