    Class Teacher: KS1 or KS2 

    Full time    Salary Scale MPS

    The Queens’ Federation Governing Body is seeking to appoint a class teacher at Queen Edith Primary School to start from 1st September 2026. The post is permanent and full-time at KS1 or KS2. Applications from experienced teachers and ECTs will be welcomed. Please clarify on your application form in which Key Stage you would prefer to work.


    Queen Edith and Queen Emma Primary Schools are part of the Queens’ Federation. They are two large, thriving city schools, both in the centre of Cambridge. They are run by one Governing Body and a highly experienced leadership team. Teachers work collaboratively with their year group partner and share planning and assessment across the federation.


    We have a reputation for being a warm and welcoming community with strong parent partnerships and an inclusive ethos. We aspire to motivate children through a creative curriculum and promote first-hand experiences. We are part of the international project the Leader in Me and value and nurture leadership skills in both children and staff.
